The Friends of Saint Anne's Hospital are community members, business leaders, employees, medical staff, patients, and individuals who support the Saint Anne's Hospital mission of providing quality healthcare to the Greater Fall River community.
Established in 1958 to provide support and comfort to patients, the Friends have become a tradition at Saint Anne's. Although their role has greatly expanded over the years, members can still be found volunteering throughout the hospital and community.
As a result of growing health care needs, one of the major functions of the Friends of Saint Anne's Hospital is to raise funds to support such hospital operating and capital needs. The Friends have been very successful in this area, due in large part to the commitment, talent, and time contributed by the group's members.
The Friends operate the hospital Gift Shop and sponsor various fundraising events throughout the year, including the Christmas Luncheon, May Basket Luncheon, Ladies' Night Out, Annual Meeting, and the highlight of the year, the Gala.
We need more "Friends" like you to continue to meet the health care needs of our community. Members receive all Friends mailings, selected Saint Anne's Hospital mailings, and are offered opportunities to volunteer throughout the hospital and/or organize wonderful events such as the Annual Gala.
